- Use the microphone permission prompt to enable voice capture and transcription.
- If transcription does not start, check iOS microphone and speech recognition permissions.
- Export important projects regularly using the project backup JSON export.
- On-device AI models can be large; downloads may require available storage and a stable connection.
- Local AI endpoints must be reachable from the iPhone on the same network.
Privacy And Data
Dialogue Capture Studio stores projects locally on your device. Project text, character cards, memories, and settings remain local unless you choose to export, share, paste, or send content to an AI endpoint you configure.
If you use a local or remote AI endpoint, the content needed for that request is sent to the endpoint you selected. Review the privacy and retention policies of any third-party or self-hosted AI service you use.
Backups
Deleting the app can remove locally stored app data. Keep backup exports for important writing projects.
