Overview

Dialogue Capture Studio is designed as a local-first writing app. It stores your projects, transcript entries, character cards, memories, and app settings on your device unless you choose to export, share, or send content to a configured AI service.

Information Stored On Device

The app may store writing projects, dialogue, notes, lore, research, character profiles, avatar images, local AI settings, and model file references on your device.

AI Endpoints

If you enable AI character features, the app sends only the selected context needed for that request to the AI provider or endpoint you choose. This may include recent transcript entries, scene summaries, character profiles, and selected memories. If you configure a third-party or self-hosted endpoint, that service is responsible for its own data handling.

Speech And Microphone

Microphone and speech recognition permissions are used to capture and transcribe spoken writing. Transcription behavior may depend on iOS system services and permissions.

Exports And Sharing

You control exports and sharing. When you export or share a project, the exported file may contain project text, character cards, memories, settings, and locally stored avatar images.
